These Vario Transmission emulators allow the transmission to use the engines full remapped power when needed, allowing performance closer aligned to a geared tractor at the top end. They dramatically reduce the drop off you get at the top end when climbing banks or working hard. Smaller tractors with the same engine and transmission as their more powerful counterparts have a lower max fuel usage limit set, the transmissions are built to cover a range of power outputs from different manufacturers and models with an upper limit of power easily coping with the extra.
